paradise

i know its not the best quality, but you get the picture, right? sometimes i forget that i am from such a beautiful place...i take it for granted. its normal to me. its not paradise--its home.

but i was wrong. now i realize it really is more than just Home.
it IS Paradise!

today i listened to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. i smelt the saltiness of the spray. and i admired the moonlight reflecting off the water.

it was great.

That was a great shot. I was there at 4:15 AM when you and your parents go walking. What a great way to start our day. Maybe you should make an entry about early morning walks and any benefits, dangers, challenges, etc.

I like the comparison between home and paradise, as well as the conclusion, then I took it one step further. Our Eternal Home will be beautiful like paradise and we will feel so comfortable there. I can't wait. I hope you feel the same.

Making anyone home sick for Kekaha? The house is always wide open for all.

Hey, maybe that's another blog entry idea.

Josue's comment (translated): Is THAT your house??
Cam's response: Well, not my house, but right outside of it...
Josue's shock: Am I going to die when I go to Hawaii?? Everything's going to be just so beautiful I'm going to die??
Cam's response: I don't think so.. :P

So funny! And it's so true what Nell says: we don't really think of Hawaii as paradise as much as we think of it as home...

P.S. On Dad's comment: I miss home these days... I told Josue today that if it weren't for the priority list of things we need to use our tax refund for, I'd get him on the next flight home so I could go see my family :)

i think that it's the same way for everyone and their own homes. i realized that after going on our road trip. i was thinking this is so pretty... the open-ness, contrasted with the over powering mountains and canyons, and i thought that was just soooo pretty. but there are so many times that i've heard how hawaii is sooo beautiful. i'm glad i'm from such a beautiful place. =)
