Your Happily Ever After

i was looking through conference talks and this one stood out to me. the title was catchy so it caught my eye. plus, im definitely a fan of fairy tales and happy endings. i believe in them. :)

i was curious to see what it said so i read it. and here are two of my favorite quotes from the talk.

“Happily ever after” is not something found only in fairy tales. You can
have it! It is available for you!

see? even president uchtdorf believes in happily ever afters! :) and the other one,

My dear young sisters, you need to know that you will experience your own adversity. None is exempt. You will suffer, be tempted, and make mistakes. You will learn for yourself what every heroine has learned: through overcoming challenges come growth and strength.
It is your reaction to adversity, not the adversity itself, that determines how your life’s story will develop.

isnt that profound? i thought so.

im excited for my own happily ever after. now i just gotta find my prince charming. :)

Seek for Happily Ever After or put another way: Eternal Happiness.

Allyson made this observation - I love Pres. Uchtdorf's talks because he talks to the boys about flying airplanes and to the girls about being princesses. - after the last YW Gen Conf Session.

We pray for all of children to have their own Happily Ever After family just like the one they come from.

i want a happily ever after too! isn't it great tho, how a prophet of god talks about things that the world thinks of as fairy tales and fantasy. that makes the world so much more full of hope. =)

it's not THAT far, nell. if you think about how old you are and what you have left before you can start looking for it, it's not far at all :)

and rach: don't you worry! yours is in the making! :)
