in sunday school we learned about noah and the ark.
we listed a few of the "floods" of our day:
materialism
pornography
cynicism
laziness
coveting
media overload
etc
and then we listed a few of our "refuges"
faith
word of wisdom
food storage
temple covenants
work
etc
the thing i took away from this lesson came from a comment that sarah made. it was very simple. all she said was:
we need to rise above the floods.
but i thought that was very profound.
