one of the (many) things i love about BYU is Tuesday Devotionals. they are so wonderful. and i really dont understand why people have no desire to go. ive always been a fan of devotionals...but a few weeks ago i realized something cool: attending devotionals is helping me to achieve the first aim of a BYU education!
A BYU education should be
(1) spiritually strengthening,
(2) intellectually enlarging, and
(3) character building, leading to
(4) lifelong learning and service.
every time i go to a devotional i am spiritually strengthened. :) so that made me even MORE dedicated to going. i am grateful for our devotionals. tuesdays just wouldnt be the same without them!
today brother hotchkiss from the department of civil engineering spoke to us. his address was titled "god loves you." hence, the title of this post. and it was so great to just sit there in the marriott, listen to him talk, and be reminded of god's love for me.
i know he loves me. i know he knows my name. and i know he cares.

it was a good one. :)
I just loved your sun! It was so happy! :)
I was also thinking about your comment about why people don't go, and I stopped going when I started working at the MTC... So after I stopped going, I just got out of the habit. But it's good that you went every time you could.
me too, its been such a blessing
